The winery: Founded in 1909, the family-owned winery Humberto Canale played a significant role in developing viticulture in the Patagonian region. The Rio Negro valley provides a pristine setting and unique conditions for producing high-quality grapes; the unpolluted air brings great luminosity, while the waters that come from the melting snow of the Andes irrigate the valley. The surrounding desert and the persisting southwest winds also provide a naturally protected environment.
With over a century of experience across five generations, the winery continues to employ artisan wisdom with the most modern winemaking techniques, which is reflected in the elegance of their wines.
